Lens Relay

A calm offline journal for contact lens wear sessions, check-ins, comfort notes, solutions, and personal wear patterns.

WearStart sessions and add fast check-ins.
PairsKeep lens pairs and solutions organized.
ComfortReview personal patterns from saved history.

What the app is for

Lens Relay is made for people who want a clearer personal record of how contact lenses feel through the day: when dryness begins, which solution was used, whether drops helped, and why a session ended early.

What it is not

It is not a medical app, diagnostic tool, treatment guide, vision analyzer, eye camera tool, or replacement for professional care. The app only stores subjective notes entered by the user.

Core flow

1

Create lens pairs and solutions.
Save the pair name, replacement type, opening date, favorite solution, notes, and optional local package image.

2

Start a wear session.
Choose lens pair, solution, environment, start time, and planned duration.

3

Add check-ins.
Record overall comfort, left/right dryness, blur, irritation, drops used, breaks, and short notes.

4

Review comfort history.
See best recent combinations, early end reasons, comfort fade curves, and replacement watch cards based only on saved entries.

Main sections

  • Wear: current session, quick check-in, best recent combos, and early-end watch cards.
  • Pairs: lens pairs and solution profiles with searchable history.
  • Checks: full session and check-in journal.
  • Comfort: personal analytics from completed sessions.
  • Profile: preferences, export, demo data, and local reset controls.

Local data approach

The app is designed to work fully offline. Structured records are stored locally with UserDefaults and Codable-style app data, while optional images are handled as local files with only file paths stored in the app models.
